Later Life Ambitions survey on Older People and their Local Communities

Dear Member,

Thank you for taking the time to take part in the LLA survey on older people in the community.

With the closure of Post Offices, the transition to a cashless society, and the decline of many high streets, there is growing concern that older people are increasingly unable to interact with their local communities.

This goes beyond just being inconvenient. We are concerned that barriers to older people engaging with their local community has unfair financial implications, causes increased isolation and loneliness, and generally reduces quality of life for some of the most vulnerable in society.

We would greatly appreciate if you would answer the our survey. We will then use the experiences of our members to inform our future campaigning on these issues in future.

Kind regards,

Staff at Alliance HQ
