Commons Debate on Free TV Licences on the Over 75s

AGE UK just found out that MPs have called a debate on TV licences in Parliament tomorrow afternoon.

They will vote on whether the Government should take back responsibility for paying for TV licences. The vote isn’t binding but it would send a strong signal to the Government that MPs want them to pay for it, not the BBC.

We want to get as many MPs as possible there to show how strongly we all feel about this.

Could you email or tweet your MP to ask them to attend the debate? Please use the following links:

I’ll Tweet my MP

AGE Uk will be phoning MPs to make them aware. If you can assist this would be most helpful.
