Intergenerational Fairness Committee report

The House of Lords enquiry into intergenerational fairness has published its report today. We are extremely disappointed to see headline grabbing ideas such as the abolition of the triple lock, free bus passes , TV licenses and other pensioner benefits feature in the report. The solution does not lie in making Pensioners poorer, but rather investing to support younger generations. We shall be carefully looking at the report in order to respond to the committee and registering our views in the strongest terms. We will also be organising a joint response with our partners in Later Life Ambitions. You can follow our tweets on the subject at this link https://mobile.twitter.com/laterlives
