Hardship Loans for Civil Service retirees awaiting payments

CSPA is pleased to see that attention is being paid to the plight of Civil Service Pensioners who are not getting their pension.

But there is insufficient action to help every pensioner due their money. An emergency hardship loan scheme is insufficient, and is more administrative work.

We call upon the Government to establish immediately an emergency payment scheme, regardless of needing to claim hardship. This failure to pay what is due affects peoples’ lives, it is not an administrative exercise.
