CSPA is a membership organisation, working on behalf of members, to protect the value of their Civil Service pensions and help them to get the most out of retirement.
We have been campaigning and lobbying on behalf of pensioners in the UK for over 70 years. We don’t just work to protect the value of Civil Service and related pensions, we also partner with other campaigning organisations to fight for better social care, health care, accessible transport provision and more.
How we can support employers
We can offer a range of webinars, as well as online and in-person workplace events, for those thinking about, planning for, or in the process of, retiring or partially retiring.
Our Pensions Manager, can assist CSPA members experiencing issues with their pensions, including under and over payments, difficulties accessing widow or widower entitlements, should they arise
More than just pension support
Our local Groups around the UK, and Branches in Scotland and Northern Ireland, offer opportunities to re-connect with former colleagues, stay active and engaged, campaign on the things that really matter to everyone in later life, and support fellow CSPA members in retirement.

Workplace events
One of the best times to learn about CSPA is while you’re still working. We welcome opportunities to meet Civil Servants and members of the Civil Service Pension Scheme in the workplace, introducing them to CSPA, explaining the benefits of membership, and helping them prepare for retirement.
We’re always happy to attend departmental networking events, staff engagement days, retirement seminars and other workplace events. If you’re organising a local or national event, we’d be delighted to host a CSPA information stand and speak to colleagues about how we can support them before and throughout retirement.
If an event isn’t possible, we can also provide leaflets and other promotional materials for you to circulate within your organisation.
