What is corridor care?
Every day in hospitals across the country, NHS patients are being treated – or forced to wait for treatment – in corridors, waiting rooms, queuing ambulances or even store cupboards.
Corridor care poses huge risks to the health of patients, as well as the safety of NHS staff. Thousands of preventable deaths are caused each year by long A&E waits.
The SOS NHS coalition is raising the alarm on this crisis, and demanding that the government delivers the lifesaving investment needed to end corridor care once and for all.
We need every single MP to engage with this vital issue. Take action by writing to your MP today and urging them to join our upcoming campaign action in Parliament on 25th February!
