Make sure your MP shows they care

3.5 million people across England are missing out on vital day-to-day care and support.

The Government has just launched an independent commission into social care. It’s an important opportunity for us to stand up and make ourselves heard. If we act now, we can help shape the future of social care.

That’s why we’re inviting MPs to join us in parliament on 3 July 2025 at our Show Us You Care event.
At the event, people impacted by social care will talk about their needs and hopes for the future. MPs can also learn from policy experts from the Care and Support Alliance of more than 60 charities. It’s a chance for your MP to learn about how they can champion social care in your area and nationally. Will you email your MP to invite them along?

Make sure your MP is there

We know that the right care can transform lives. From being stuck at home, unable to do the things you enjoy, to a life where you can feel independent – go out, get to work, exercise and see friends.  From feeling isolated to feeling safe and supported in your home.

It can mean the difference between caring for a loved one 24/7, without any breaks, and a more balanced life. One where you can take care of your own wellbeing while knowing your loved one is safe and well.

Our MPs represent us. When constituents ask for support, it’s an MP’s job to listen, so inviting your MP makes a real difference. We’ve written a simple invitation that you can send at the click of a button. We’ll do the rest of the work!

Invite your MP to our social care event

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can show politicians how important social care is – and give them the tools they need to make change happen.
